Presumably because by then he will be on his way?
I personally can't wait for more classic headlines like this..........

love this bit best though...............At the time of the outburst, Liverpool were commanding the loftiest of heights in the Premier League ladder, and had a seven-point cushion at the head of the table.

Thats a bit revisionist, they were 7 clear of united, but only a point ahead of chelsea, who had played fewer games. Also Man U had 3 games in hand, so its not exactly like they devon loched like Utd did last year, 8 points clear in Mid April having played the same number of games as City.

It was bizarre though....

agree.........it was my memories of watching Man Utd from 1974-1992 getting in the way there.......even a chnace of doing a devon loch during those years would have been gratefully received.......

But werent Utd 11 points behind Citeh with the same number of games at Christmas time
The 4-4 draw against Everton was the downfall 4-2 up with 10 minutes to play IIRC.

But Toon haven't lost a match in Yurop this season ad they haven't won one in the prem after playing in Yurop either. It's half time at SJP now and we're up 1-0.

Do you see a pattern?

none at all and 26 years after your last title (which is fast approaching) I still will have none.......but the Liverpool fans of the 70s and 80s had a great ride.... my years of Docherty, Sexton and Atkinson with a few days out at FA Cup Finals did scar me ...the scars have faded well though

Mark Hughes now gone. Why do owners and chairmen always give their full support and backing just before they shaft the manager ?
