I think Hodgson may have overdone the substitutions somewhat......

I see that Chelski are now looking for their 9th manager under the wonderfully enlightened ownership of Abramovich.......... the man is pathetic... a manager has now been sacked who won the Champions League and FA Cup last season and now less that a third of the way through this one with them strongly placed in the league. The guy leaves a bad taste in the mouth.
I hear that the 9th manager is likely to be another joke........ Rafa the Gaffer.

I personally don't think he should have gone.

Its crazy. 5 or 6 bad games and he's axed, after winning the C-L last season; Still he lasted longer than AVB, Grant and Scholari...
The problem isnt the manager in my opinion.

Is Benitez in the frame because*
A: After 2 years on the sideline Rafa really needs the big payoff he will get after his inevitable sacking, and Abramovich is a big softy with a heart of gold, happy to oblige.
B: He has a history of being prepared to compromise in order to get on really well with difficult owners.
C: He was the last manager that Fernando Torres actually looked like a decent footballer playing under.
D: Abramovich has fallen out of love with attractive attack based football after a brief experiment and wants a return to ultra defensive win 1:0 footy a la Mourinho again...
E: He has such a great rapport with the Chelsea faithful after all those happy hours spent at liverpool, managing against them.
F: No other bugger will touch the job with a 10 foot pole, least of all Pep Guardiola.
* Some sarcasm may be present

Given Romans need to fire managers the question should be WHO wants to manage Chelski as opposed to who their next manager will be.
Id be looking for a contract with a payout should he wake up one morning on the wrong side of the bed.
Even Shankly or SAF wouldnt feel safe at that club. Im waiting for the day when he ****s off and what happens to Chelski then

I think with the idiotic Russian it now becomes possible to sack a manager at half time in his first match in charge if they don't happen to be in front.
Chelsea have now spent 69 million paying off managers they have sacked in the last 8 years...I suppose its loose change for the Russian Mafia.......
