Who else would use such a dopey acronym? We just say the Premier League or the Premiership, it stands to reason we don' t need to qualify it by mentioning the country its played in as we are English. It sort of like Chinese people going out for a meal, they're not going to go "lets go and get some Chinese" are they?

Gobby Karen Brady and the Porno brothers have made that Bingo Club a laughing stock. And, as if renting in a half-full athletics stadium in the championship for the next ten seasons will change that.

Although when we lived in Vancouver we had a Japanese kid staying with us for 3 weeks - he spent the whole time going to Japanese restaurants.

You'd find much to chat about over there.

Can't complain about the result to day. The lads did well to come from behind twice against very decent side.
Still unbeaten, still in fourth place.
It's all downhill from here.

All in all probably a fair result although we were rather naive in the last 20 mins and should have held on for the win.

The worry is Ledley King. When we finished 4th in 2010 we got a reasonable percentage of league games out of him. I was hoping for similar this term.....
We really need Gallas back now. I'm not a big fan of Dawson, Bassong or Kaboul- they all seem to need that more experienced head next to them.

I agree though that Ameobi isn't quite up to the premiership in a starting role.
This is prolly a classic hex but Wigan in Toon, Blackburn & Stoke away followed by Everton at home is all looking doable.
Then of course three weeks with visits to both Manchester clubs and then Chelsea at home will be a very different challenge.
I'm not daft enough to expect much from those games.

Craig Forest think's Newcastle are good for the top half. I think so too.
Pardew has done a resonable job despite the controversial circumstances that he entered the position.
