FWIW I wasted another few minutes of my life on that EPL predictor thing. Same as last year when I tried it, there is a fixture missing (although one of very little significance).

It took little effort to get Portsmouth, Hull and Burnley relegated but I was surprised about the ordering of the top three (and the points I gave them).

I put Man Utd down as winning 2 more games tan you did, with Chelsea still winning the title on goal difference over man Utd, and Arsenal 1 point behind. Liverpool would end up 7th.

I have no problems with your end of season tallies especially at the top, although I would prefer for Man U to beat Chelsea and Arsenal on goal difference (and a dodgy goal at that, scored into extra time that nobody but Sir Alex could find and then Drogba/Terry/Lampard/Ballack and Wenger going absolutely mental as it all sinks in.

me too, though unfortunately my predictions on chelsea and dem jermans have come true, and i can't see it anymore for the league. i hope i am wrong. my only consolation will be liverpool finishing outside the top 5.

Well back in the day we were competing in the same city with an all powerful team that ruled the top flight & indeed Europe.

Anyway this season hopefully they will finish outside the Sky4 places. Here in Japan the top 4 teams get featured every week live on (satellite)tv - so that would mean I wouldn't have to suffer the RS as much on my screen next season.

But back on topic, Newcastle are the only team in England with an unbeaten home record this year. The last time they did that was 1907 I believe.

Blackpool are on the fringe of the playoffs and will be trying, so let's see.

If we don't lose tomorrow there's only Ipswich to bother about after that.

Why do Manchester United fans only ever seem to think that league titles only start from when the old First Division was renamed the Premier League? Nothing much changed except the name.

Since the start of organised leagues in England in 1889, these teams have won the league.

Manchester United have been the most successful team since 1992. Before then, they were only fifth in numbers of titles won behind Liverpool, Arsenal, Everton and Aston Villa.
