Oh hell, I have been talking to too many Americans and Canadians.. huge apologies! I meant, of course, the accompaniments to the Turkey. :) |

No nippers this year so after a debauched Xmas eve I'll mosey over the pub for the afternoon to see what's going down.
Rather looking forward to it! |

Open your eyes, look to the skies when you're lonely There will be stars shining for you . . . All day long, we will be wombling in the snow We wish you a wombling Merry Christmas! |
Re: Time for a Christmas thread?
Does anyone know of a site that allows me to create a single Christmas card but send it to multiple people with just changing the inside message? Moon pig and Funky Pidgeon are easy for individual cards, but multiple card option seems hard work.

After a bit of investigating and triangulation of recipes, I think I'll buy some pie pastry for the bottom cups and put the puff pastry on top.
20 minutes later pastry is in the fridge and the sausages are almost ready. Tomorrow I can take it all out of the fridge and prepare them pretty fast, or even roll them up tonight and pop them in the oven tomorrow after work. If I take them to the club I will be a big hero, man of the hour. |

That's it, now I have to make pastry, just the normal easy flour, lard, pinch of salt, ice cold water. I'll make some sausage rolls, or rather I'll probably prepare all the stuff and make them tomorrow.

Do what I do (cause I can't be arsed to make pastry) - buy twice as many cups and us half for the top half - you have to squidge them down a bit and crimp the edges together, but they turn out great!:)

I made my own mincemeat thus year. Very yummy it is too. I'm going to try making a mincemeat upside down cake, it has possibilities. Also you can use bead instead of pastry, I t works |
