Thunderbirds remake is go, say ITV and Hobbit studio

Yes.
I do fear though that we will have several ex pats moaning that we cant watch it in Canada or how do we watch it.
Im wondering who will be doing the new voices for Scott, Virgil and Lady Penelope. Will it be a more modern remake. Will the pink Rolls Royce be replaced by a Toyota Prius?
So many questions need answering.

How can it be better than the original? I fear only disappointment can come from this. Still, I am a little bit excited, on the off chance that it builds on its heritage.

Perhaps they will base it on being Politically Correct.
It will have people of visible minorities or ethnic backgrounds so they wont offend anybody. Perhaps the characters will have varying accents or dialects.
Perhaps Lady Penelopes chauffer will be a Scouser and we will be seeing a Scouser driving a vehicle that they have not nicked sorry borrowed.
Thunderbird 2 will have a Geordie as T'Bird 2 looks fat and watching that shirtless Newcastle fan on Saturday after they scored their 2nd goal will attest to this.
Maybe John on T'Bird 5 is gay and thats why hes in space and now wearing a pink coloured suit. Maybe Lady P is actually a lesbian.

If I remember correctly, the original Parker was a retired bank robber. I'm sure he used his safe-cracking skills in one episode.

I remember reading a hilarious blog post about how, because fox hunting was banned, she had to satisfy her blood lust by machine-gunning enemy agents. Unfortunately Google is so useless these days that I can't find it again.

As for this, it surely can't be any worse than the movie a few years ago.

Seriously, if you didn't see it then pretend it didn't exist. I paid 49p for the DVD on eBay, and it was overpriced.

Edit: I would have to agree with Anderson's summary of the movie in the article: "the biggest load of crap I have ever seen in my life".

Lets not talk about that movie. Just pretend it never existed.
