Make all prices inclusive of taxes, and then round them to the nearest 5c.
And introduce a 50c coin.

cheaper internal flights, supermarkets to sell booze, more holidays.

Why is supermarkets selling booze a good thing? It just makes it easier for kids to get alcohol, and at least with the monopoly you know no store is going to risk its franchise to supply underage buyers, its not worth it to them.
I used to hate the tax free pricing...now its just normal.

A small thermo-nuclear device at the bottom of Lonsdale wouldn't be the end of the world either.

Because a bottle of wine that costs $14.99 in the BC Liquor store costs $5.99 in Fred Meyers in WA. They are just as strict in checking ID at the checkout.

Better Cars available
Proper pubs

Transport cafes with proper breakfasts
Roadside café vans
Better radio stations
Christmas eve in the pub

Please point me towards a "how too" link if you have one. Im so sick of paying $55 a month for the crap supplied. I looked at "Digital over air" a while ago, but I got the idea I was in a bad area for it...

I see cheap booze has been mentioned several times. I'm going with that.

As to whether it is being spent properly is another topic all together..
The main opponents of health care reform in the US see such high taxation/s, (as in Canada) directly or indirectly as the likely result to any such reform.....and they want to have there cake AND eat it....
Sorry....someone get back on topic....
....how about politicians that do what's best for the country rather than themselves/party?

Just needs "Jerusalem" to be playing in the background. And you only missed out these:

)Children going to school, not loaded down with giant competitive sized backpacks but with warm and intelligent smiles.
Intelligent, civilized and modest behaviour rather than the shrill vulgarity of parochial eagerness.
I could go on but I think I'd drown in my own vomit.
