I got home from work once and some kid asked if I'd pop in the newsagent and get him a single.

Naturally I thought he meant a 7" record...but they don't sell them.

Anything silly, and funny and completely irrelevant .....I have kids falling about, because nobody 'plays' with language here...and speaking as a woman "who has a face like a bag of spanners" I can get people to listen to me with an amusing turn of phrase.
