Yeah north americans have a real hang up over this. But most who waste thousands on this obsession can ill afford it. And as others have pointed out the natural colour for teeth is off white/cream. How stupidly superficial of the NAs.

Once overheard conversation between two young Canadian males:
... "Was she English?" ....
"I think so ... she had English teeth anyway!"

One of my colleagues here has prematurely white hair. A patient once asked her: "What happened to your hair?"
Quick as a wink she retorted, "What happened to your manners?!"

What's wrong with looking after your teeth? Saying North Americans are obsessed with nice cleaned and white teeth seems to be justifying your horrible brown or at the best, off white ones.

Brush your teeth after a cuppa or a fag and go to the *****g dentist people
