I drink coffee about 90% of the time.
I prefer bad tea to bad coffee tho (bad coffee is one that is too strong).
I have gotten into chai tea and green tea since I got here but have it black (everyone is into their "posh" tea here aren't they)
However chai tea latte at Starbucks? It's just fundamentally wrong. Tea is made with a bit of milk in the top. Not made just with just milk and froth? Noooo - it's just simply all wrong.
My husband makes it by putting the milk in with the teabag and then adding the water. That's just wrong too.
Seriously hardly anyone can make a right good cup of tea can they?

Oink I shall keep my eyes open for these, many thanks...I do have a Regent St. Just near me...but a different one! But I might luck out in our Scoop & Save as it has all sorts of bits. We have a 'new' Tea Boutique opening in Fredericton! I hear you all saying 'oohh' don't I?
Here
Or this is not bad.

I like the chai tea latte at Starbucks, though it's obviously a bit overdone. From what I recall of having chai in Indian restaurants it is always very milky, I think that's how it is supposed to be.

Tea at home. Coffee at work. At least in the morning. Mrs AX can't stand coffee so I only get to drink it at work or from a coffee shop. (Not Tim's as their coffee is vile.)

Poor old Timmies. It really does get a slating on BE. I don't find anything wrong with it's coffee.

Yep, Indian friends make chai by heating a pan of milk with tea leaves and spices the straining it before drinking.

I love the smell of coffee. I love the taste of good coffee. The texture and flavour of a latte would win every time, if it wasn't for the high chance of it bringing on acid reflux.
So I mostly drink teas these days and usually very milky. Black, posh, chai, hippy, I don't care, I will drink whatever is in the pot.
Coffee is better than tea but I drink a LOT more tea than coffee.
What exactly is tea in the context of this thread? Are you thinking "just the black stuff"? What about hot water with stuff like cinnamon sticks, cloves, ginger, mint or dandelions in it?
What was the question again?

Rooibos tea in the morning with my breakfast.
One cup of coffee in the evening
I will treat myself once or twice a week and go to Starbucks for a nice Latte.

Tim Hortons doesn't sell coffee anyway. I'm not sure why it's so popular when every street corner has some local coffee shop that actually makes a good cup. I go there because my co-works think its great and won't go anywhere else.

I'm done with coffee. I quit today and have been dealing with a headache all day long!

Anyone seen those Breville One Touch Tea makers? They boil the water and lower the tea in - very cool!
