About 7 or 8 years ago there was still an H Salt Fish and Chips at Stone Road Mall in Guelph. Apparently, there were 50-60 of them in the GTA going 20 or more years back.

I recall reading that you know you are in a working class area if there is a KFC /Taco Bell combo restaurant. I don't recall where I read it.

That sounds pretty dreadful bats....we have both....in the same food court! We are doomed - which isn't so suprising at all

So does Peterborough!! Probably explains why there are no eligible females around these parts either! I think there must be a connection. Doomed! Lol

That's because you need to have food with high protein levels in because people do manual work.

There is a Taco Bell here but I would not eat there.

Local favorite post here is Poutine/ slice of Pizza or a Donair. I think they call it a halifax Donair out west.

Donair is like a Donner but its beef not lamb. Typically served in a wrap with cheese, chopped tomato and donair sauce. Its like a sweet garlic sauce.

I once asked for salad, chilli sauce and garlic mayo - they looked at me like they had seen water burning
