Re: The Super Bowl Thread
The good ads are blocked out here so I only see later the ones that others think are notable, and I quite often miss the half-time show due to kitchen or inattention. Guarantee one nipple-slip every time and the sales potential would explode.

Re: The Super Bowl Thread
Our local pub (Black Sheep, Maple Ridge) was half empty during the game today. I've never seen it that empty on a Sunday - it's usually packed with a wait for a table.
I didn't realise so few shits were fortunately given about NFL round here! This was good, because it meant we managed to get a table for dinner without waiting. Unfortunately there was one loud redneck who had consumed one beer too many (he was ginger, which therefore probably meant he'd consumed one beer), who was managing to piss every other customer off by not knowing how to speak without shouting. |

How about this commercial?
This one was just weird. Even an IBS medication had an ad....Apparently those allergic to erythromycin can't take it though, shucks....lol |
Re: The Super Bowl Thread
We were amused by the new Carolina fans that appeared. I guess they can throw those jerseys away now.
Good game I thought. If the Denver defense isn't mentioned in the same breath as the Ray Lewis Ravens and the Bears 46, QB-mania really has gone too far. |
