Such strange parallel lives a lot of us are leading.

I was just reading how Cassie 10000 had problems with her garden wall & ownership etc. (I know its Saturday night, but I get to go to the pub on Fridays and the kids are watching some questionable talent based crap on TV, so I am doing 'Research') Anyhow we got a letter from our buyers solicitor saying they want us to rebuild our wall as it has a slight lean and next door hold a covenant on it. I have told them to stuff it so we are holding our breath now to see if we lose our sale.
Also she has a dog with arthritis, ditto We do wonder if it's wrong to take her and how expensive it will be as she develops more and more ailments. Still if the house sale fails, maybe it won't be a problem.
Why can't life be a bit easier.?

can understand the issues with the dog.....have been round and round in circles with our own dog.....do we leave him or take him? after a couple of months of debate, we're taking him; he's part of the family and has given us many years of great company.......even though it's going to cost a fortune and he should be getting a first glass seat on the plane as his flight costs more than mine.......but i would be very unhappy if we left him......

No, The house was subdivided a few years ago with a covenant saying we had to keep the wall maintained, it has a bit of a lean on it but hasn't changed in the 17 years we have been here, 'course as soon as a surveyor looks at it, he has to condemn it because it would become his responsibility if it ever fell .
As for the dogs I agree with you both, it's not a case rationality is it?
