Developers often like to take hyperbole to the extreme in naming their new collection of identikit houses jammed into as small an area of land as possible.
Idly surfing realtor.ca here I came across a new development rejoicing in the moniker "The Vales of Tolt Mountain". (http://www.thevalesoftoltmountain.com/ if you are so interested)
Please share examples of overblown development names from your neck of the woods. Just to keep me entertained.
I thank you.

I think they're typically named for the thing bulldozed in order to throw them up. This website name is killer:

Can we count blocks of flats?
This is maybe 1,500 miles from the nearest sea:

"Gardens of Coronation" is surreal, I'd want royalty on the lawn.

Brampton's a bonanza, bear in mind that it's very much like Slough and yet
one can purchase a jerry built semi squished among a million others next to a disused gravel pit and find it's called:
The Estates of Credit Ridge
Timberbank Manors
The Estate Homes at Huntclub of Castlemore
I hardly dare look what houses in Barrie are called. The Aboretum of Meth, perhaps.

Well, all the van ones I found are pretty boring so far. They like one word names like "Affinity" and "Union" and "Legacy" and that's it, really.

Okay, am developing a theory that the further and crappier a new development is, the more overblown the name

Moss side sounds like a nice area.
Marelyn munro twin towers mississauga, are cool. And the ICE Condo Toronto.

OK, the very first site I found in Barrie is named in txt spk. I can't imagine there's a white trashier project anywhere.
