So sadly, my Canadian gf and I are splitting up. The PR application will be revoked and I've gotta find somewhere to lay my head until around Stampede or end of June when my work contract ends.

Sitting in a Bridgeland cafe just now looking at places on Kijiji and Air bnb and thought I'd through a post up here should my timing happen to coincide with a spare room on the forums.

It's times like these where the UK, friends and family feel like a bloody long way away.

Oh, and is my OWP at any risk should the PR be retracted and common law status removed with CRA? It's currently valid to Jan 2018 and while we could hold off until the end of my current contract I'd like to know if I have the option to return elsewhere to Canada to work after a stint back in the motherland.

EDIT - If it wasn't clear - rent would be expected, not a total scrounger!
