It looks like the only lying will be done by snow.
It was a bit chilly this morning round here, down around 11°C.

Our mixed precipitation and mysterious star are no longer expected this weekend.

Tuesday afternoon it was 29C with the humidex in St John's. This morning it was a crisp 8C but bright & will be in double digits for the afternoon. Fall is being good to us so far. Makes up for a lousy July!

We're offered the first proper frost. That'll get me off me arse and shifting the eight yards or so of topsoil that's in a pile before it all freezes and is there for the winter. Fortunately, toiling like, er, immigrants, last weekend finished all the groundwork for the building project du jour. October is a killer busy month for outdoor stuff.
