So - how many of us live in Vancouver
#1
Hey
I've been wondering - my head hurts now
But quite how many of us live in Vancouver, and would there be enough of us to have a meet up? Maybe considering the time of year, how about one in December for Christmas????
I live Downtown and would be happy to meet anyone who can make it either downtown or nearby.....
Anyway - I through the debate to the floor....!
Be good to meet some more people....

Nope, but we're only a ferry/bus ride away. Something in the new year would be OK as they're knocking a third off the ferry prices

Hey there!
So - I think the 5th December may be a good option - please let me know if it's not? We could meet up somewhere that suits us all too.
If those coming from the north shore can make it, why don't we do something in Gas Town near to the Seabus???
Also - for those arriving in the New Year, its just a great excuse to do this all again???
How about we figure out numbers etc and if anyone has a particular favourite spot then lets go there. For me, I'd like to go to the Irish Heather, haven't yet found it but seems to have rave reviews in all the books.....

Hi,
If you would like to share a few beers with the Vancouver Brits check out
this Expat group http://brit.meetup.com/223/. We organize a monthly get together and I'm hoping to do some more activities too. Suggestions welcome.
I hope you can all make it to the next event, probably will be on Fri 28th.
I don't know if you chaps about the Billy Bishop in Kits. It's very reminiscent of the old pubs back home. It's a hangout of many a traditional Brit. This Remembrance Day it will be packed. They usually have pipe bands, morris dancers, Irish music and the like going on all day.

Look forward to seeing you soon, and so pleased you've finally got a date and are on your way. Good luck with packing up in the UK and don't panic too much.....
