Shopping in Seattle
Hey'all I'm in Seattle overnight, for less than 48 hours. So am wondering how much stuff can I legally bring back into Canada? Also I'm with my parents who both have British passports and are visiting us, so what applies to them? PS I am writing this on my fathers iPod with my 14 year old daughter typing do apologize if questions are a bit messed. Am starting to lose the will to live after having spent almost 3 hours in border control! Bloody American security! Seattle is nice so far though! Love you all, thank you very much. x xx

Used to be 500 bucks i think. Only ever brought back a hangover.
I have spent 3+ hours queuing to get over in 90f heat before, hell. Lot easier getting back in aswell. Love Seattle though. New Orleans place in Pioneer Sq had top notch blues bands.

When there's a long line, go to the duty free shop, buy something and you'll most often get through a lot quicker.

It should also work at Peace Arch though I haven't tried it since the new duty free opened. If anyone does, please don't block the Nexus lane when try to rejoin the lineup. It is very annoying.
I like Seattle too though I've not done much shopping there. Cassie shouldn't forget the outlet mall at exit 202 on the way back. I'd rather stick red hot pins under my fingernails than visit, but for some reason women seem to like it.
