Seems so. Mum and I are heading to Watertown the week before Thanksgiving. What better way to give thanks in Canada than by spending money in the USA?

I'll not be selling clothes - you know the Country Cupboard in town, crafts and gifts and stuff, I may well be working there in the next couple of weeks

How egalitarian of us. I read somewhere that Canada's recovery from the recession depends on the US recovering. So I suppose we are doing our bit. As you do.

PS. NY state sales tax is 7.75%, beat that.

Well yes, that's what I heard too. So I, selflessly, agreed to go and spend money in Target to try and help out. It's times like these that we all need to pull together.

The VV on Kingsway is really good - got a good haul of german/italian designer stuff last time was there.

River Island is in Vaughan Mills and Top Shop clothes available in some trendy store on Queen St (can't recall which one, I haven't been in it)

OOOh I like VV - but not impressed with their book prices - but then they are so bloody expensive new here I have resorted to the library!

Hmm if I went to Holt Renfrew tomorrow I would get a buyer person and get them to update me and my make up!
I have nice clothes in my wardrobe but at the gym I am either in black trousers and a ref Goodlife shirt and "dress shoes" which are flats cos its a 40 000 sqft gym and I aint running round it in heels or standing at front desk for 9hrs! - me bunions!

Or I am in work out kit!

Thats brave, i'd never trust anyone to make me over - they might want me to dress age appropriately Same reason that if i'm going to colour my hair I do it myself

I've got my shoulder to the wheel, my back to the wall, and will have my nose to the grindstone- which will make trying on clothes tricky but I'll battle on. That's what we do isn't it?

Proud to know someone as noble as your goodself.
