Is Setanta free at the moment?

I'm not that much of a footie fan to bother with Setanta, but have missed watching the Six Nations. All 3 of weekend-before-last's games were PVR'ed when we realised Setanta was doing this open access month thingy - I spent a lovely few hours on Tuesday evening watching them one after the other. I even managed not to hear any results all through the weekend, too! I haven't checked the schedules for next weekend's games yet, but last time they were shown both on match day (not live, though - late afternoon Canada time) and again a couple of days later, plus a highlights show on the Sunday evening.

....Setanta Canada isn't a rival in the same way Setanta is over there.I remember reading that, for example, Fox Soccer Channel and Fox SportsWorld Canada were both separate entities. Although they do 'share' some programming, they do have separately negotiated rights to some games.
I think it's the same with the various Setantas channels.

For a short time there was a BBC link within a streaming site posted here and it worked perfectly for the weekend that included Wales v England. I watched it live. But it's gone now.

The FAPL sell the rights directly to the TV channels, Sky (and Setanta) bought rights to the games in the UK, other providers have bought the rights elsewhere in the world. The UK is also the only country that isn't allowed to show the 3pm Saturday games but it's pretty easy to get yourself a foreign satellite feed to watch them all (for a lot less than Sly charge too).
You can still watch BBC live over here too, just need to spend a few bucks on a VPN, or if you use Firefox I have a little set of instructions that should get iplayer working.

We seem to be able to watch stuff on Setanta at the mo - football and rugby and stuff. Has it become free all of a sudden? We haven't specifically subscribed to it at all.
Has anyone else out there got this strange phenomenon? We have Shaw digital by the way.

It was quite a surreal experience watching live cricket last night (albeit ICC women's World Cup - India versus England)....this on the free preview of the 2 cricket channels (CBN & ATN Cricket)
