I suppose Hob-Nobs are a step up from ginger snaps, although I've always found them (when dunked) to be a spiritual experience par excellence.

There is a law for Oreos and milk but I just can't find it at the moment. |

Re: Satanists in prisons
I can see now how I thought the First Nations would have more representation in 'religion in prison'. Nationally 3% of the population, they make up about 30% of inmates but on the prairies where they represent 15% of adults they make up 80% of the prisoners so we have more of the sweatlodges here. The services and ceremonies they have here for them likely wouldn't benefit the largely Catholic inmate population in the larger centres, but are extremely beneficial to those who partake. The spiritual things can help by reinforcing positive identity and addressing some of the root causes of crime but don't replace the training and work programs that have been cut at some provincial jails. In my view scrapping rehabilitation for a purely custodial prison system will cost us all a fortune in the long run. The 'American Model' we're adopting doesn't work and that's been proven..

So do you accept that some religions are not "made up"
But for some of the more recent religions the fabrication/history and evidence or proof is right there in the public domain and its common knowledge.. Others are so old the hard evidence is lost |

The government shouldnt be funding these endeavors any more than they are finding the regular places of worship out there. If the wider church membership is interested in saving these souls or whatever, they can have an extra collection now and then to pay for it. |

Re: Satanists in prisons
Actually, when you think about it, shouldn't the satanists be funding the prisons? After all, aren't they just a feeder school for the big Hell fire?
