Yorkshire meets Vegas

I did my first degree in Middlesbrough, and it sounds like Sarnia is every bit as great a place to live as Sarnia is
Cheap housing ( when I was there you could buy a 3 bedroomed house for around 15,000 ukp)
Lots of enticing jobs in the chemical and steel plants. Which also provide an enticing fragrance (tarmac when the wind was going in the right direction, sulphur when it wasn't)
Friendly locals. Often up for 'hugging' non locals. Plenty of busy pubs which were great for a fight of a Saturday night.
Even cheaper housing elsewhere - iirc because the unemployment rate in Cleveland was twice the national average
Quick to walk everywhere - no one can afford other forms of transit, and inner city Middlesbrough was predominately condemned two up two down council houses
By these measures, Sarnia seems like an equally awesome place to live. I should really seriously think about moving....
