Condolences too to Souvy.
I too am an animal lover. Our animals were considered part of the family;well cared for and well loved and when they died they were sorely missed and grieved over.
I have friends who were unable to have children and their pets helped to fill the void in their lives and when the pets died they told me that it was as if a child had died.

For the record my only daughter died five years ago. I do know about the pain and anguish of such a loss. I miss her and still grieve for her and always will.
I have been following this thread and have been reading this and found I needed to respond but not knowing what to say. I don't think there can be anything more painful to endure than losing a child. I don't know you Largo, but if you can accept the honest sympathy and well wishes of a stranger then I would ask you to accept mine.

I thank you most sincerely for your kind words and thoughts and am very pleased to accept your sympathy, especially since we do not know each other. I wish we did. You seem to be a very kind, compassionate person . You are right ; the pain of losing a child is excruciating. Please do not consider yourself a stranger. I hope you will contact me in the future

Condolences on your loss. Never an easy thing to go through and particularly painful when surrounded by people in festive mood.
