Does anyone have the Roku 3 & Rogers? We're having issues with the router/vpn to watch UK tv - managed to watch US tv just fine. Thinking of changing to Teksavvy, but just wanted to check if anyone else had issues with Rogers.

Is the router provided by Rogers, or are you using a private router? Reason I ask is the Rogers-provided Modem/Router combos do not support VPN/DNS/IP circumvent services, you need to purchase your own router from a place like Best Buy, whilst putting the Rogers modem/router combo in "Bridge mode" basically passing on the router part to your own router. You can call rogers to set it in aforementioned bridge mode. We've done it and are happily using a Netgear R6300 router with the newest rogers "Hybrid Fibre Optic" modem/router combo, placed in bridge mode of course.

Depends on the bypass service you are using... I use www.unblock-us.com and you can choose on their online portal from US, UK, and Canadian servers simultaneously. (So one night you could be watching UK tv and the next night switch the portal over to US or Canadian)

I haven't tested mine with a Roku, but at home we are using unotelly.com. $40 for a year of service, and you pick which websites you want to be from which country, and then you don't have to change anything. So when I go onto iPlayer, it thinks I'm in the UK, and then when I go to Netflix, it thinks I'm in the US, and I don't have to change anything. The setting is done at the router level, so all computers/phones that are behind the router (except the Chromecast - damn you Google) behave the same way.

Hmm I hadn't heard of that one, will keep in mind Does it impact your internet speeds at all? With unblock us we get our full net speed using their DNS servers at the router level.

The chromecast is probably set to get its DNS from Google, not your router, because google is different like that Try manually setting the DNS in the chromecast to the unotelly ones.
