I have no issue with people who let their car warm up enough to allow the heater to blow hot before moving off. It's the sensible thing to do. It's dangerous enough driving when it's 30 below without having the added issues of not being able to see out of the car properly.

I have to admit to getting not only a remote car starter (so that I do not have to spend too much time in trying to pry open the doors of the Dodge van) but also a remote garage door opener.
