Default Record rainfall for Toronto...

New record set as 26.2mm plus, drenches Toronto.

http://www.thestar.com/news/gta/article/613150

Which follows Sunday's 22.2mm soaking which broke a 58 year old record.

http://www.citynews.ca/news/news_33456.aspx

It is a raining in Richmond Hill.

What a winter and spring this has been right across Canada.

I agree she'd be upset if I dripped sh*t in the front hall.

(Semi-)seriously, I'm surprised that today has been some sort of record. It has been raining steadily for several hours, but it's never been torrential at any point that I've noticed.

2 hours of moderate rain over at Pearson opposed to light rain all day a Buttonville might make the difference.

S'pose so. But 26 mm of rain is only equivalent to abut 26 cm (just over a foot dbd33) of snow. Seems like we get more than that now and again. Or is it just a record for the date?
