Is this real?

I do like a good chuckle at some of the daftness that's in Uncyclopedia. Whilst browsing the various Canada pages, I noticed this image on the Vancouver page.
Is it for real?

It's not the kind of thing I'd expect to see on a sign. If it is real, that's fantastic for showing a sense of humour from whomever authorised the sign.

I suspect it's real and you're right, it is humourous. Not all Canadians, despite what's contended on this site, are devoid of humour.

If its real, someone here must know where that lake is right? Cant be too hard to find.
Funny as it would be I suspect its photoshoped.
This is my favourite real sign.... its not in Canada though.

Obviously its photo shopped as we know all the residents of North Van pick up after their pooches so no signs of this nature are necessary

There's a town called Kirkintilloch close to where I live. When approaching there by road, you are greeted by a large, vandalised sign stating "Welcome to Kirkintilloch. Scotland's anal capital".
The town has a canal going through it.

It's real cos we have one like it near us.
There's also one that says "Dogs, please pick up after your owners" underneath the "pick up after your dogs" message.
I think many dog owners in Vancouver are illiterate on both messages though

The other 3 are very much Canadian humour and leave my face (of extreme beauty) unmoved.

Looks real enough.
When I lived in Oakville, there was a sign on one of the bridges that specifically prohibited falling off the bridge.

From a Canadian point of view our sign makers seem to be able to spell unlike some of the roadworkers in the UK when repainting areas especially in skool shcool scol zones.
The Sun & Mail usually point out those inadvertent mistakes.

Not sure about that. Near me there's a street with a sign at one end saying "Cook St", and the other end saying "Cock St".
