We buried my mums ashes on friday ( she died, New Years day) but we couldn't get back then. And i suppose it all became abit real for us, sounds daft i know, after 9 mths............But because we was so far away, it wasn't real
And to top it all off.....after 13 wks of roughing it here, sat on hard floors and managing with not alot, waiting for shipment to arrive. I emailed last wk to find out where it was, i had an email back friday pm saying it was sat in a warehouse in bloody Vancouver Errrrrrrrrr!!!!

Oh Sans really sorry to hear about that - truly I am. No it doesn't sound daft about the "reality bite". I don't know what to say, can pull a joke better than anyone but am really bad with sympathy - at least you have some sort of closure now - have a hug

So where exactly in the world should the furniture have been as opposed to in Vancouver?

Oh bloody hell thats the last thing you need! And i bet you're in the "we won't get anymore furniture cos ours will be arriving soon" mindset at the mo?

Have they given a reason for its failure to leave Canadian shores yet?

Have tho had to give in and buy stuff, the air beds were borrowed and they needed them back.............so i have had to buy mattresses i couldn't face another airbed, just bought 3 duvets etc All my cloths are in shipment winter coats etc

They just said someones been sacked and they'd never arranged the shipment. They wouldn't pack the stuff till they had payment :curse: I'm thinking some sort of compo is in order here.............Still not got my cheque for the house tax they charged us twice for either.

Sorry to hear about your weekend Sans. I'm not very good at sympathy either, but virtual hugs are yours.

Sounds like a fun weekend MMC. Hope the weather was good.
