I was trying to keep the "things with wings" theme alive.

I did have to google that, and I'm afraid that as a result of a childhood spent in a family who were incomprehensibly fond of never ending games of Italian rummy card games ( at least those involving me) are banned in my house.

The game 'sevens' is a game of strategy although distribution of the cards at the outset can give you a distinct advantage or doom you to failure. I have taught my 6 year old grand-daughter the game and she really likes it. I have to be careful not to win too often though.

Just get a gum shield for when you do.

This will appeal to Dorothy and co

Jamie Oliver's paella recipe is panned online - BBC News

I felt that the breakfast paella near the end was the most authentic:thumbup:

Hope you had a nice time, the weather was pretty good- we were driving around Kelowna on Saturday afternoon, never spotted the Mustang though.. kitten ..?!:sneaky:

Took the dull Sienna as we were delivering IKEA furniture to a friend!
A few weeks ago someone ran over and killed Mork, one of our lovely cats. We decided that the other one needed some company so collected a fabulous Maine Coon kitten from beautiful Kelowna!!
Maine Coons are described as the dog of the cat world so I should be OK!

Ah right, that makes sense, we wondered why a Toyoto was driving down the highway with Billy shelving sticking out of one window and a cougar sticking it's head out of the other window. Sad about Mork though:( Is this new big cat going to be called Mindy, Shazbot or Nanunanu?
