Re: Random stuff - the anything else thread
The working is good.
I am just not sure I will have long term success without DBT and therapy.
I just want to have the skills necessary to feel better and need a professional to talk to and work through issues that hold me back.

I cannot beleive how many people post on news comments about how someone is guilty and doesnt need a trial and should be no trial to save money cause ya know they are guilty and trial is a waste of money.

One of our first stops when we visit the Canadian son and in-laws. Tim Horton's and St. Hubert's in Quebec.

Oh Rete I cannot believe you just said Tim Horton’s...perhaps it was for your other half and not you. Tim Horton’s sucks.

I don't care for Tim Hortons at all - although the dark roast is good and a fruit explosion muffin saw me through many full days at the hospital.
I've had over a month's worth of experience of the one at the hospital, regular experience of another one about 7 years ago and minimal experience of two others. Everything fresh as a daisy.
But their donuts are better than Dunkin Donuts. Mind you, that's not saying much and Superstore does the best jam/jelly donuts. Trouble is, they rarely have them. What the hell is wrong that nobody can sell a good jam donut. Maybe if they spelt it properly as doughnut they'd improve.

Another example of differences across the country?

Never had a dunkin donut. They were not big on the west coast when I left California.
Most donut places are independents and dont bake their donuts, baked donuts are not good donuts. Lol
Closest decent donut place I have found in Vancouver is Duffins but still not as good as the places back home.

Best donuts I've had were in a little place in Ottawa that hubby went to all the time for apple fritters when he owned his townhouse just outside of Ottawa proper.

I only like their coffee. Been a few years though since I've been in Canada. They might have changed greatly but I did enjoy their coffee. I detest Starbucks. I like coffee not mud. Love expresso (known as black coffee by Italians in NYC) but I rather go without then drink any coffee from Starbucks. Also I don't like the coffee in Europe either.

FYI..I think you put a letter in the 'black coffee' word that doesn't belong

Sometimes that is the case though. School shooter for example. Perhaps a fast track trial would suffice. One judge, no jury, straight to the gallows. A lot of public money is wasted in the trial system.
