Re: Random stuff - the anything else thread
Vancouver aquarium is temporary pausing public operations on September 7th.
They are going to work to reinvent the aquarium.
Hopefully they don't have to close permanently, its one of the few attractions I like in Vancouver.
Just doesn't look like they can cover operating costs of being open.
Link.

What kind of world are we living in? Adele being accused of cultural appropriation is mind boggling. Even the Jamaican's don't care.

Staples.ca is advertising free delivery on everything currently. No minimum order needed.
Being a stationery freak today I ordered $2 worth of Bic pens and 6 notebooks at 10c each. Apparently pens are arriving tomorrow and the notebooks the day after. Crazy.

Is this your way of using your allotted carbon imprint, even though a non-driver?

Thing is while they have light skin, they are Mexican, and my step sisters and siblings were the first in the family to be born in the US.

Re: Random stuff - the anything else thread
Silly buggers go off too easily, and dang they could wake the dead, nearly everyday some apartment has set theirs off. Takes very little just cooking can do it, they seem to be able to sense smoke when the human eye or nose cannot. Probably doesn't help that apartments are small so smoke detectors are closer to the kitchen than they would be in a typical house, and of course the loud alarm sets the dog off.....
