From what I have seen on TV and read I agree this is not a terror attack, and should be tried as a mass murder with no chance of parole if/when found guilty.

When trying to sniff out radicals who may be targeting ethnic groups, political science students would probably not be the first people they look at. Ed Snowden showed us the methods used by the NSA to spy on the public through the internet, but how many millions would they have had to look at before coming up with Bissonnette?

I'm not sure we (the public & the media) know enough yet about why he did this/What led to this, to be able to "define" whether it's terrorism, a hate crime, "young man with issues" etc.
There appear to be elements of all the above, possibly.
I'm trying not to judge/form opinions based on media reports based on alleged info from now unavailable social media accounts.
As a side note: I'm not too impressed by the clerk of the court who allegedly "confirmed" the names of the suspects (as mentioned by media) .
