I agree, not a fan of his, but It's all about Me-Again as has been all along, horrible narcissistic, self absorbed shallow woman, and Prince Harry is thinking with the wrong head and is as bad as her, publicly trashing his own flesh and blood,

I just don't understand what what they were hoping to achieve, was it as shallow as publicity and money? , . This latest stunt was pathetic and reached a new low even for them. The way of the world these days I guess...... victim mentality is very trendy nowadays.

Harry had better hope she doesn’t kick him to the kerb when he is no longer useful. I do not think the RF will forgive and forget.

Although I appreciate that we are allowed to comment on threads in this case why do some give a **** about what happens to them???????? Are they family members of any BE poster, are they related to any BE poster, have any BE posters been invited round for tea, Does any BE poster employ them? Why aren't we outraged or commenting on Brittany Spears predicament or do we support Kim or Kanye in their divorce?

Thats exactly whats going to happen... she will divorce him in a few years when hes no longer useful,, I'll put money on that! and now his bridges to his family have been vapourised not just burnt!!! If he was a member of my family and he had done that to me.... I don't see how its unforgiveable.

Sad thing is no one is winner out of this ridiculous spectacle, its achieved absolutely nothing! . Sad.. very sad.

I don't think anyone does now.....except for the Americans. I do feel for the Queen though.

And having to deal with the awful business of the American mulatto, of course. Taking up with someone so very unsuitable was bound to upset the more traditional members of the family. Inevitably they were obliged to rummage for Reich jewelry. To cap it all, now there's an octoroon, a child of a ginger at that, who can blame one for wagering on its colour?

Well, indeed, one must long for a simpler time of absolute monarchy.

I personally think it was done to get their names known in America ..... they have these multi-million deals with Netflix and the other channel, but they need the public to subscribe to those channels for them to make it. No subscribers, deal(s) falls through.

There was a poll the other week that showed a majority of those "ordinary" Americans polled did not know them at all, or thought they maybe had seen him or her on TV "some time". One person thought that Harry was maybe an anchor or reporter on Fox News.

H&M allegedly were not paid by Oprah's company, so publicity, publicity, publicity.

and, as has become obvious, a very large number of Americans have been bamboozled by them, believing every single word.

I think most British knew that a wedding in the UK has to have 2 witnesses to the ceremony to be legal, and that you can't have a second marriage 3 days later, with all the vows. The second would have to be a blessing.

You do usually have a meeting with the celebrant a few days before the wedding to go over the details of the wedding. The same happens in Canada, except that here it may often only be the wedding rehearsal, with the major wedding party participants there, not with only the bridal couple. I know my daughter and her husband-to-be had to have a series of talks with the vicar on what married life meant. I don't know what the usual routine is in the US.

When we had our "interview" with the vicar, back in the 1960s, he began by saying that he "always met the bride at the door to church and preceded her down the aisle, because the first words that I say in the ceremony are "Does anyone have any objection ....", and I always think that is very harsh." I thought that was rather nice, and then he went through the other steps, using the terminology from the ceremony.

That was all well and good, until it came to the day, when he met me at the door, escorted me down the aisle ....... and then his first words to the congregation were those same words describing why he'd done it.

I began to giggle, had hard work trying to stop, and remember very little of the actual ceremony

One or t'other claim by Meghan has to be wrong, and the Americans seem to be believing the wrong thing.

Of all the thousands of hateful slurs Morgan has tossed at MM, a lot of it lies and gossip, she has never replied to any of it. He was relentless. MM has the last laugh.

So. What are the lies and the gossip please? I was rather under the impression over the years that it was she that struck up the friendship with Morgan and that they actually knew each other quite well .

Markel uttered several actual untruths during the wretched OW interview. Now, maybe those were her misunderstandings which she hadn't bothered to learn about in the short time she was of the Royal Family, however the inferences - how about calling them slurs - that she made were rather unpleasant and deliberately so and she did this knowing the sitting target(s) would be unable to ,basically, answer back. Not good , not good at all and rather along the lines of how Morgan has commented on & observed about her from what I read.

To be clear I am no Morgan fan at all and no Merkel fan either. The pair actually seem quite well suited and attuned to each other.

Perhaps if she wants to point fingers and cast dispersions, she should do so first at her own husband who maybe should have schooled her far far better on what a life of public service actually is and means. It was all there for her to know.

Re: Prince Harry and Meghan ......

Weddings can vary in the US as to ceremonies, and vary quite a lot.

The marriage license to get married is issued by the government, but the ceremony itself can vary greatly, although you need someone authorized and permitted to officiate which may or may not be a religious entity, depends on the bride and groom, some states may have a waiting period from issue of license to when the ceremony can take place, requirements to obtain the license can vary a bit state to state as well.

We got married in Nevada. Day before the wedding ceremony got the license, and paid the fee. Mandalay Bay provided the officiant who was non-religious civil officiant. After the ceremony 2 witness signatures were required, and a couple months later, pay another fee and got the actual marriage certificate proving the marriage.

We had a small wedding, only 12 people parents, step parents, siblings and their kids so no rehearsal, just showed up to the wedding office at the hotel 30 minutes before, then about 10 minutes before walked down to the Aquarium where the ceremony took place.

The getting of the license was the most time consuming part, took about an hour mostly waiting in line. Vegas is a popular place to get married.

The part of the government is to issue the license and certificate really, the actual wedding ceremony part is pretty much up to the bridge and groom to decide, just got to make sure your officiant is licensed/permitted to perform weddings.
