Not that they've broken any rules, of course. As for common sense I would have thought life on the island would be pretty nice, but I suppose it's not for everyone. I remember a BE poster whose husband had moved her onto the beach on Vancouver Island and gone on business most of the time and she hated it, wanted to go back to England and live on a canal boat or something. I've never been to Los Angeles but I don't think it would suit me.

And if he did, he got fast tracked with an approval ahead of thousands on the wait list before him.
If he entered the US with the intent of filing for a green card while living there, he could be found to have committed fraud and could be denied and banned. Right ... like the government will do that to him.

Yes its pretty plain to see now, the plan was tinseltown all along....what Meghan wants Meghan gets.....Canada was just a short decoy, and they chose to bring the move forward now as it would go relatively unnoticed during this Covid 19 outbreak. Thats my theory anyway.

Does not appear Harry and Meghan had plans to even ask the US Govt to pay for it according to their statement, so really just Trump tweeting without knowing anything which is his usual behavior.

After seeing that Canada and her citizens footed the bill for much of their security while in BC, it was safe for the Prez and US citizens to assume that the ex-royal couple would expect some type of government involvement in their safety.
She is a USC, Archie is a USC still wonder what visa Harry got to enter the US to live and work.

Canada had announced over a month ago they were not going to continue footing the security bill as of end of March.
Could Meghan being a US Citizen not just sponsor him as her spouse? We really have no idea when they started this process, for all we know its been in the works for enough time to get all that sorted.
