"Snow" says the general contractor, "is easier than rain, we don't worry about snow". But then, I suppose, he has a house with a roof. No snow is forecast before the weekend.
I doubt we would have chosen to be roofless in November. In hindsight we should have started the building permit application before emigrating to Canada.

Try cropping that pic, to take out the distractions ( powerlines, trees et al )
