Posh towns?
#1
I have just arrived in Toronto, now looking to buy a house. I have seen two that I like - one in Stouffville and one in Georgetown.
Of the two towns, which one is considered to be the more up-market?
I know it's "Posh-ist" but I'm a brit ..what can I say!
Anyone have any sensible answers?

Although I am not at all familiar with your locations, when we looked at buying here, we chose a couple of locations that we liked or had been recommended.
We then chose the house that "felt like a home".
In East Red Deer which is really nice and established with lovely trees.

Try Oakville, not far from Georgetown but more things to do, places to shop etc.

Which of course I do.

Helicopters at home are overrated!

Stouffville is the kind of place where one is expected to know the better brands of helicopter. Having "a helicopter" is not going to impress anyone. Oakville is ok but "lake front" vs. "lake view" very much determines one's status.

In Stouffville I wonder what you're supposed to front on, or just be able to view?
It can't be Walmart of course.
