Err... is this in relation to any specific activity, or just in general?

I'm right-handed but went through a phase of using my left hand for everything cos I wanted to be prepared if I had to have my right arm amputated (in childhood a friend had an accident. I guess it freaked me out). I still do a lot of things very easily or better with my left hand.

Oh. I thought this was going to be about the disproportionate number of Grauniad readers here.

I thought it was going to be about which way us gentlemen dressed.
Suits you sir!

Born left-handed but forced to use my right-hand when very young. Now exclusively right-hander apart from when gripping golf clubs.
I can also write my signature and normal text as an exact mirror image with my left hand.
I believe this is something that's more common with lefties (which my brain is still hard-wired for).

I do this mirror writing too but only with my left hand.

I'm left handed for everything, except holding a tennis racket, rounders bat etc. then I use my right hand
As a child if I left the table to use the loo, my parents would sometimes swap my knife & fork over, i'd come back to the table & carry on eating without noticing
- i'd certainly notice now

Left handed, but play golf and tennis with my right hand.

On the subject of golf, Canada is somewhat unique. Globally less than 5% of golfers are lefties, but in Canada the number is way higher, like 30%!
Because nearly everyone starts off playing hockey and left handed hockey players are plentiful it seems that transfers over togolf. And as there are so many left handed golf sets around, new lefties can get clubs fairly easily and arent forced to switch for purely equipment considerations.

I voted as a righty BUT I am naturally left handed.
Whilst in school in the '70's I was made to sit on my left hand so I didn't use it to and if I was to raise my left hand to answer a question I was told to raise my other hand.:curse:

I'm a righty but:
I wear my watch on my right wrist (broke my right hand years ago and got used to putting the thing on with my left hand)
Pick up heavy stuff with my left hand (busted right elbow, never healed properly - yes, I'm accident prone)
Fiddle with the missus left-handed (can't reach otherwise).
