None so far in Ontario, touch wood, no fixed cameras here though.

I have been so lucky lately, again touch wood, twice in the past fortnight I've been flashed a warning by oncoming cars and avoided the plod. One of those times I was on a road where the limit is 60 but the usual speed of the traffic is 120 or so. Behind the cop was a small fleet of tow trucks eagerly awaiting confiscated cars.

Speeding tickets are part of modern day living folks...no cameras here in Ontario...something to do with the Liberals I think...
Seriously, if you are caught out, pull on your big boy shorts and suck it up!
....its part of the price we pay for being in a hurry!

(No, I don't really mind, but it'd be easier if I didn't have to.

And if you're stupid enough to drive under the influence and get pulled over, just admit it and do the friggin breathalyze test, so the people who called you in, won't have to lose a day's work to go and testify against you in court.

...in spades! Having said that, in the old days, the overtime attracted in having to go to court on your days off to give evidence in such cases was always welcome...
