OK seeing as a few of you are having a crappy time at the moment here's a couple of things that happened to me yesterday that will make you feel better :(

I've got a new man in my life - he's a beautiful moggy called Pudding and is 3 and a half months old.

He's my main boy and follows me pretty much everywhere.

So......

Last night i'm putting some washing in the machine and transferring the wet stuff to the tumble dryer. Have this to a fine art and don't have to look at what i'm doing.

You soooooo know whats coming next

I hit the on button to the dryer and hear a thump, thump. Open it up and out falls the cat. He was fine as he only did 2 revolutions so it wasn't hot but he was a bit shaken.

Anyway then I decide to have a bath and he's sat on the side pawing at the bubbles in there, loses his footing and his front end goes in - i save him from complete immersion, so now i'm out of the bath towel drying him off.

My first thought after this disasterous night of pet ownership...............

I now have visions of a Garfield-esque moggie hair-do - where you have used a hairdryer and he now a complete puffball :lol:

lol no he had the complete ump because he wanted to run around the living room getting everything wet so we fought for a while he got mostly dried off and I just felt bad :(

aaahhh cr@p I hadn't even thought of that Lorna - was posted purely to tell the world "look guys you seriously don't want to be a pet in my possession" and to lighten the mood!

Told a good friend about the dryer incident last night and they said "are you serious" and I said believe it or not yes - you see this in films and hear it as a joke but it truly happened.

So to my little Pudding - "I'm so sorry mummy is a dip sh1t - we will have our snuggly wuggly when I come home - mwah mwah mwah."

Ahem - sorry forgot where I was there for a mo :o

apologies for the thread hijack, but since moving to Canada, our dog Mac's coat has come in so thick and fluffy that he now has to be groomed (thinned out). Despite having tried a couple of doggie hairdressers, he always comes out with a rather snazzy neckerchief! Couldn't resist taking a photo last time of one very embarrassed doggie:-
