I have difficulties with this story

1. Is it a victory for common sense and a repudiation of sickening political correctness?

2. Was the whole thing contrived and it turned out to be fantastic publicity?

3. The change of heart, was it simply financial greed by the network?

4. Was it his personal religious convictions as the driving force?
