First the passport farce, now the fishing rights farce, how many more farces before this ill conceived Brexit is done?

Although No-Brexit is starting to seem like a lost cause, Owen Smith makes a good point...

"Never interfere with your enemies when they are making a mistake" Sun Tsu, The Art of War.

The Tories will be disrupted to the point of mutual cannibalism within the so-called Implementation Period, well before it becomes impossible to revoke A50.

The last thing we want is for Labour to stop them self-destructing.

Not sure about that. The ERG types seem now to be taking a long view, waiting out the implementation period, and then starting on the nationalist visions. They need to undertake the fish pantomime to keep their core Brexit supporters on side, but they have allowed May to accede so many of their so-called red lines that it suggests they are up to something. If we do enter an implementation period, it will be had to return to the current UK "custom EU status" and that will be more firepower for the Brexiters to soldier on to completion.
