Good question. It's not unlikely. De La Rue, who hold the current passport printing contract, also produce the new Â£5 note.

If they win the new contract then they look into avoiding using anything controversial given the recent bad press. Then again the new Â£10 note will be made using the same process so maybe not!

Presumably 52% blue & 48% red? Personally I prefer an alternative!
