got there on a Sunday and no drink available...... We often have the RN in our waters they come ashore for the duty free stuff for the ships stores. Places like Sark are good for a day trip when the sun is out and things are open. He would have been able to have a drink with a meal only on a Sunday and not just on its own. It was like that here until recently, the Sunday trading has been relaxed as at one time you could not get petrol on a Sunday!! Canada is a good idea but a bit far for a weekend so we would have to go for at least a month:rofl: |
