Just popping in for a quick one whilst I finish stuffing things in the suitcase...... namely long trousers - long sleeved tops and raincoats ! Off to wet Ireland today with the kids to stay with a friend and then back to max temperatures in Yorkshire of 18°C to see family and friends.
Anyway - I'm not going back for the great British summer but for the company and all the goodies I can't get here ......... and one never knows .... a freak heat wave might hit England while I'm there - lol . This time tonight I'll have a big glass of cider in my hand - can hardly afford the prices of the wine over there .... not compared to Italian prices anyway. Anyone for a cider or a pint of real ale ??? See ya folks ! |
