Thats a word i've not used sinced being in Canada - other people in the UK didn't get it let alone Canadians lol.

From now on I shall use it lots and see if we can get people saying it over here

No, (nearly) all the fat comes off, so its strips of hardened bacon flavour if you do it right.

What does everyone call bread rolls then - thats a definite geographical speciality.

In Leicester we called them cobs
We call them cobs in Birmingham as well.
