Sad news 'Footy fans'...we may be loosing our live Premiership/Scottish Prem, etc in the near future. Viz:
Setanta faces administration "within days" unless backers provide more funds to pay £30m it owes to the English Premier League, reports have suggested.
The broadcaster has already failed to pay the Scottish Premier League £3m it owes in television rights money.
Jings crivens help ma boab....Did so enjoy the live premiership games of a Saturday/Sunday etc.....
Wonder what else I should spend that portion of my Satelite subscription on?

I hope they do collapse so we can get three saturday games back on Sportsnet. Or ESPN/TSN may bid for the rights, so plenty of free channels to watch.

Well, you already have the 52" big screen which is the expensive item. Assuming it has an HDMI input then all you need is a computer with a HDMI output which as Brownstar points out is $600. Or rather less than the big screen. If you don't have the right computer and are happy in downloading and watching rather than streaming then go buy a Western Digitial Media player & USB thumb drive from tigerdirect.ca for $200 or so and connect it to your TV. Bob is then your mothers brother.

The internet feeds I have come across are somewhat shaky even on a small screen. Hate to think what they look like blown up to that definition.
Anyway, I'm noty getting into an argument. I do tend to catch what I want to see footie wise on the interwebby.

They should leave our football alone and concentrate on ruining their own sports.

Noooooo.
They don't do football properly at all. The announcers are terrible and are rarely at the game. The in-studio people seem disinterested. Then they plaster crap about baseball and American football etc all over the screen, well the bit you can see through their enormous ESPN/TSN logos.

I have a decent computer, its the bloody internet connection at home thats the insurmountable obsticle for me
The online feeds always seem sort of crappy to me anyway, generally asian in source too...china or thereabouts?
The bad news is that if ESPN pick up the slack it will mean Tommy bloody onionbag Smyth is back again
