For all you smartarses () I'm 100% certain it was water, they were there for 2 hours at least, never acted drunk, they were clearly just having a good time to the music. This was in Nava, Asturias, which is actually home to a very interesting Cider (Sidra) museum. They make a type of Cider there which is flat and you pour it from a height to make it fizzy. Again, you don't see people getting wasted on the stuff, just relaxing and enjoying it.

They were probably just drinking water as they were just very exhausted dancing for so long. Makes you wonder where on earth they got the "energy" to keep going

Ahh the old days

Yes, they can mock, but I really don't think it's a problem in Vancouver. The youth here prefer coffee judging by the number of starbucks take out cups you see at open air events.

Mocha-choca-whippety-froth. Somewhere under all of that is coffee.

Are you suggesting that there might not be coffee in their cups? Unbelievable.

Whiskey? Or Whiskey if you are having an Oirish coffee. Remember floater coffee's much beloved in Berni Inn steakhouses in the 70's and 80's? Who'dve thought the Vancouverite yoof of today would have the same tastes?!
