I'm Sick! I have a sore throat and a dry heaving cough and the hots and colds. It wasn't so bad on Friday when I was at work but my voice was on it's way out.

I had a customer who wanted to exchange a sweater. Whilst I was helping her I started with the coughs, she offered to get me a drink. I politely refused and said I was OK really. I finished off serving her and off she went.

5 Minutes later there was an excuse me Mam? I turned round and the lovely lady had got me a Dole fruit cocktail drink. Bless her heart!

Aww thats nice - if it was uk they would probably complain that you were spreading germs!!

Thats what happens here. They tell you to keep away from them and if you cough you are spreading plague.- which is sort of true really

I found wearing a scarf and coughing into that was considered A Good Thing. Shame the scarf is now riddled with germs!

but the drink was a nice touch
