As people have been reading about them I would say they are newsworthy. It doesn't interest me, but it doesn't annoy me either. Mostly cos I just don't care.

Wow, good for Eddie Izzard. That's an incredible feat.

Haven't heard about it before though, but the tv news I've just watched led with Swayze's death. Eddie's fundraising efforts should be more newsworthy, but doesn't appear that they are.

Just kidding. Eddie Izzard really has done something very special indeed.

But, thanks to him, now I've got no excuses when I'm slobbing in front of the TV, eating Pringles in my best frock. The b*****d.

sorry I had completley forgotten the rule that everything has to be run by Butch before posting to see whether he deems it acceptable or not. How remiss of me.

Excuse me if I think this whole f'ing celeb worshiping culture is pathetic, people die everyday. If we were start a thread on everyone it would get (even more) tedious dont you think?

Or would you like to see the forum degenerate into online obiturary 'Hollywood'?

Joe Strummer was the last celebrity whose death with which I shocked and saddened.

As non-media celebrities go, Richard Rorty and Jacques Derrida deaths bothered me quite a bit. Couldn't care less that Michael Jackson or any film stars that have popped off recently.

Feel free to think it's pathetic and tedious. But no need to repeatedly have a go at other people that find it interesting.

Different strokes for different folks and all that. Just skip over the threads that don't interest you Butch, and don't bother to comment on the ones that you don't approve of, or to start two other separate threads just to moan about it.

I didnt have a go at anyone, I asked if we needed to have a thread dedicated to a has been and an alcoholic?

I presume Louise has recieved a PM for making 'a personal attack' since she hasnt been reprimanded in public?

Looks like the honeymoon period could be over for us both?

Your compassion speaks volumes, another useless thread.

You don't think starting a sarcastic thread belitting other peoples threads is 'having a go'? Or posting and saying their threads are pointless? Simple answer is just ignore the threads if you're not interested.

And Louise didn't make a personal attack, she made a sarcastic comment which nobody has reported. So no need for any action.
