Ok you miserable lot in Calgary. Looks like I am appointed to see if any of you are available to meet (and frighten) a visitor to our fair city. She will be here 21-28 April. Given that she may be 'jetlagged' on Sunday and flies out again on the Saturday I thought Thursday nite was a good time to get together?
So far (apparently) HWP, Steve_P, Smelly and Morwenna have expressed willingness to protector our visitor from me. I was thinking the Kensington Pub (again) say 6pm start? I know some of you are working downtown SO we could make it DT or 17th if there is enough interest (Unicorn? Melrose? Ship and Anchor? Rose and Crown?)
So to sum up. Thursday 26th April Calgary meeting. Who would like to join us?

We are coming to Calgary today for a week. I have been reading this thread over the last week or two but didn't respond because we land at 3.30 (which will "be 10.30pm" in our heads, so I just assumed we would be too worn out after the flight to come. But Darren has just been reading on here this morning and says he wouldn't mind coming and meeting you all, if that is OK? (He survives on less sleep than me and the boys!!) So I know it is a bit last minute, but he may see you all there, unless there is a terrible delay with the flight or anything!!

Yes managed to get home without incident, found the roads surprisingly quite in comparison to the few other times I've been out that late.

Yep it was great fun to meet everybody last week, you can't go wrong when someone introduces themselves with the opening line "Hi I'm Smelly"
We'd be well up for a curry especially if it's down south - Moti Mahal in Midnapore is pretty good...
